Best Washington DC tour experience!!!
Going to Arlington cemetery and Mount Vernon were the highlights of our tour, tons of history. My family learned more history compared when in school.
Alan is an exceptional tour guide.
He is very knowledgeable about U.S. history. Very engaging with our family of 5 (incl. 3 teens). There’s NO dull moment during the full day tour. LOVE the jeopardy-like trivia.
Accommodating, he was an immediate part of our family!
We were laughing most of the time.
Best memorable experience we are taking home.
We were lucky to have Alan as our tour guide, he’s the BESTt!!!
He’s also an awesome photographer.
Go Louis Armstrong :).
The Schejtman Family – Mexico City, Mexico – July 16, 2021
Allan nos hizo pasar un día inolvidable, muy atento y siempre dispuesto a darnos una experiencia unica
(Allan made us spend an unforgettable day, very attentive and always ready to give us a unique experience.)
The Saeluas Family – Honolulu, Hawaii – July 5, 2021
We scheduled a full day DC tour and evening tour of the monuments with Alan. There is no way we could have learned all the information Alan presented us if we went on our own. Alan is incredibly knowledgeable about history and passionate about his work, especially sharing fun facts about the area. He is very personable and appreciates the fine details that only his private tour can offer. My children will always remember what each coin represents on top of the headstones at Arlington National Cemetery. They were both fascinated and awestruck with all the history shared by Alan. We highly recommend Concierge Tours by Alan. You will not be disappointed.
We love you Alan!
Aloha and Mahalo from your new Hawaii friends,
The Bowen Family – Columbus, Ohio – June 25, 2021
Incredible day with Alan in DC!!
Alan was our guide for the day, we didn’t have unlimited time in DC so knew that hiring a guide would maximize the time. ALAN ROCKED IT! He got us to all the major sites with incredible back stories that we would have never known had we gone solo. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly interesting to myself and my kids (14 and 17). I learned so much in our day together, and sincerely left that day knowing so much more about our nation’s capital.
The Williams Family – Monticello, Indiana – June 22-24, 2021
There are not enough words to describe our tours with Alan, but here are a few: interesting, entertaining, informative, humorous, courteous, timely, customized, well-paced, excellent value for the money, and well-organized.
Alan’s and his tours are a delight. Not only does Alan have an impressive and outstanding breadth and depth of knowledge of history, but he brings historical events to life. He does not just quote facts. Alan paints a verbal picture of the events and the people, offering “interesting tidbits” that make historical figures come to life.
Alan is able to tie together the events so that you can envision both the broad picture of history as well as the details of individual events. Alan’s humor lightens up what could be very dry material.
As Senior Citizens, we appreciated the comfortable vehicle, and the care Alan took to make sure our pace was manageable.
We highly recommend Alan and Concierge Tours for anyone visiting DC. We will be back because of Alan.
Parsons Family and Friends – Shelbyville, Tennessee – June 9, 2021
Worth every dime!
Omgoodness I don’t have enough room to leave all the words to describe this tour. We started at Arlington and Alan’s information was beyond the average tour information. He was an encyclopedia of fun facts and pics throughout the whole tour. We saw so many sites and learned so much. We ended at the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Korean Memorial area. Upon leaving we had an emergency of which Alan went above and beyond our expectations. His concern and genuine heartfelt compassion is rare these days. What a blessing to have gotten him as our tour guide. God is good and always on time. Thank you Alan… you will always be near and dear to our hearts!!!
Marie Helgeland – Michigan – May 20, 2021
Exceeded our expectations by a long shot!
The absolute most memorable part of our experience was our tour guide Alan Feldman! Two of my friends were traveling and one had not been to Washington, DC. She wanted an exceptional experience and was particularly interested in seeing and hearing the history of both Arlington National Cemetery, the Lincoln Memorial as well various other sites. Our first stop was Arlington and I thought I knew quite a bit about the history as I served 22 years in the United States Navy however, Alan knew far more than we did and we learned a tremendous amount. In addition to his knowledge of all of the places we requested he has a fantastic personality and you can easily tell that he enjoys what he is doing. He was extremely flexible when we wanted to see a couple more things that were not on our list. I encourage anyone who wants a “class act” to take this tour with Alan.
The Maccarone Family – Sacramento, California – June 1-2, 2021
There exists no finer tour guide than Alan Feldman
I wish I could rate this better than excellent! We took a night tour of DC and also a day tour of Arlington National Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, and Ford’s Theater.
All along the way, Alan told historical stories that were FUN and entertaining to the whole family. He was always surprising us with new facts and had a great rapport with us and our 10 and 12 year old children. His passion for history and his work is contagious.
Look no further if you’d like to tour DC… unless you want it to be boring!

The Monday Family – Lincoln, California – May 19, 2021 (DC) – May 24, 2021 (NYC)
Alan is amazing! Alan gave us a tour around DC and our experience was so awesome we asked him to give us a tour of New York City. Alan did not disappoint! My husband has some health restrictions and Alan worked around them and we saw so much more than we expected! I cannot say enough good things about Concierge Tours! If you are looking for a full day of exploring our Nation’s Capital or New York City, Alan is your man as he has such a wealth of information of both locations.
The Heine Family – Port Huron, Michigan – May 12, 2021
We had the best time! We were nervous about what to expect and right from the beginning you told me not to worry. Alan, you exceeded all of our expectations! We loved your knowledge, your ease of getting around, your humor and kindness. We have been reminding each other of all the tidbits of trivia and information you shared. We will do this again with you and yes, we will never forget you. We felt like we already knew you!
Jeanne E. and The McMillen Family – Phoenix, Arizona – May 9, 2021
I booked a full day tour with Alan for my Phoenix, Arizona family. The 5 of us were extremely comfortable in Alan’s transportation vehicle. Even with COVID, we saw everything possible in Washington! Alan was personable and very knowledgeable about the history and events of DC. We did both walking and driving tours. I appreciated that Alan worked with me on a tailored itinerary and we saw a few locations off the beaten path.
I highly recommend Alan and Concierge tours. A personal tour was a great use of our time and funds. We saw much more of the city than we would have otherwise, in a comfortable vehicle with all our questions answered real time! Thanks Alan!
Bryan Family – Nashville, TN – April 2-3, 2021
Our family of 8 enjoyed a wonderful two days with Alan touring DC with great transportation and interesting trivia. Alan kept the group motivated and entertained while hitting the sites. His organization and knowledge of the area was a huge help in creating a two day itinerary. Great experience all around!!!
Muessig Family – Westchester, New York – February 15, 2021
Awesome Tour Guide! A Must-Do! This Tour Won’t Disappoint! 10/10! 5 Stars! Highly Recommend!
This was an excellent private tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a fantastic day in Washington D.C. We are well traveled and have high standards, and we were very happy with our tour guide. This tour was time and money well invested.
My wife and I booked a last-minute half-day tour with Concierge Tours. It was then that we made contact with the owner and operator, Alan Feldman. Alan was quick to respond and seemed to have an appreciation of what we were trying to achieve.
Alan was a fantastic tour guide, who was very knowledgeable. He gave us lots of historical and cultural information and was more than happy to answer questions and even ask trivia questions. He is also a great photographer, even though he’s not a photographer. As Covid was an issue during our visit, Alan was prepared with pictures to accompany the history lesson.
Alan is a member of the Guild of Professional Tour Guides of Washington DC, which as he explained required knowing information of little significant locations such as restaurants. This information shows that he is very knowledgeable of the Washington D.C. area.
It’s evident that Alan enjoys telling the history of Washington D.C. and unknown information that comes along with it. As his website states, “Concierge Tours has a passion for showing you Washington, D.C. not only taking you to the sights and monuments but leaving you with an appreciation and education that will last a lifetime.” I can personally attest to this statement being 100% authentic.
Alan put together a half-day itinerary, which consisted of a tour of Arlington National Cemetery, the National Mall, Ford’s Theater and many other locations. Alan will be your own history nerd. The history of Alan’s nerd title came from his daughter, as he was her personal history nerd on a tour they did. Alan also drove us around showing us locations that fit into the larger story of visited locations. Alan does provide transportation that’s tailored to the group size. He is also willing to tour the National Mall on scooters if you don’t feel like walking.
We went on tour on a cold day and Alan even provided us with hand warmers! The history lesson continued even as the tour was over. We had a bonus conversation with Alan on our drive home because he remembered things that he wanted to expand on.
Hilber Family – Austin, Texas – December 11, 2020
We had one day to visit Washington DC, and I am so glad that we chose to spend it with Alan Feldman and his Concierge Tours. It is especially tricky to navigate DC now that the pandemic has shut many of the museums down, but our tour with him was so great that we frankly did not feel as if we missed anything. We saw everything we wanted to see, and Alan has a masterful grasp of knowledge, not only of DC, but of American history. We are still talking about this trip and the day we spent with him. It was one of the great trips of our lifetime. We will definitely come back and enjoy another tour with him. His tour only whetted our appetite for more. Highly recommended!
Max Dobbs – San Diego, California – December 11, 2020
I really can’t say enough about my family’s tour with Alan from Concierge Tours. First of all I learned so much as the tour was educational and so much fun at the same time. I normally don’t write reviews but, in this case, I felt it necessary because of the spectacular time I had. Alan took his time, provided us with great facts and stories and didn’t give us the ‘Bum’s Rush’ as we were out touring all day. I know I will remember this tour for the rest of my life.
The Larderoute Family – Kansas City, Missouri – December 2, 2020
We had a wonderful experience on our full day tour with Alan! We had one full day in Washington DC and was able to see everything! He was extremely knowledgeable on all sites in DC and kept us and my college kids entertained with his stories and fun facts that we would not have been able to experience on our own. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!
Williams Family – Calipatria, California – September 22, 2020
Our experience with Alan on our trip to Washington DC was so much more than we could have expected especially during the Covid pandemic. Alan went above and beyond what my father and I would have been expected from a tour guide. Alan was knowledgeable, polite and accommodating to all of our needs.
Alan has knowledge and a passion for history and love for teaching history to anyone willing listen. From the moment Alan picked us up from our hotel to the moment we said goodbye on our second day was 5-star experience. Alan went above and beyond to make our trip to Washington DC memorable. Alan conducted our tour at our speed and when we couldn’t finish the tour in one day, he went out of his way and came back the next day and finished by showing us around the National Monuments of Washington DC. Despite the Covid Pandemic that caused a lot of places to be closed, Alan made sure that our trip to Washington DC was memorable and worth it.
I have to say our tour was the best guided tour experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend Alan and Concierge Tours for anyone going to visit Washington DC.
Thank you Alan and Concierge Tours
Bouchy Family – San Diego, California – August 29, 2020
Our family of three had a full day D.C. tour with Alan during the pandemic and we could not have asked for a better, more efficient way to see and learn about D.C. and the surrounding areas. Alan engaged my 13 year-old son with questions throughout the entire day and he thoroughly enjoyed our educational (yet fun) day. Alan was so accommodating and picked us up and dropped us back off at our hotel, even though it was pretty far outside of the city. It would not have been possible for us to visit all of the places that we were able to with Alan on our own. We were able to see Mount Vernon, the Air and Space Museum, and all of the monuments that we wanted to see in D.C. Alan is obviously very passionate about the quality of his tours and his historical facts. I highly recommend Concierge Tours to anyone, but especially to anyone visiting that has limited time, as you will see and learn exponentially more than trying to do it on your own.
Emi Wilson – San Antonio, Texas
Alan is very nice, very responsive, and well spoken. Although, we did not get to do our tour due to Covid19, Alan was still willing to give us advice on where to go and things to view from the outside prior to leaving Washington. He spent a lot of time prior to the closure of places due to Covid19 making our itinerary fit our interest. We will defiantly be calling Concierge Tours when this pandemic is over and see Washington, DC with Alan’s assistance.
Anderson Family – San Francisco, California – February 17, 2020
Our kids (15 and 11) were skeptical when told we booked Washington DC for their winter ski break. Since we couldn’t bribe them with slopes, beaches, or roller coasters we turned to a professional, and boy did Alan deliver!
We spent the day learning a great deal, all the while with smiles on our faces. Alan gave a fantastic walking tour of the Capitol building and monuments, with insightful stories and anecdotes that made each site special. Alan’s passion for history went beyond facts and dates. Proof? Alan made the day so interesting that the kids’ phones were still fully charged at day’s end! Thank you Alan, our friends and family now know to call Concierge Tours when they visit DC!

Wingert Family – Fort Meyers, Florida – February 1, 2020
Alan should be recognized as a saint!! We spent all day with him and he provided a suburb experience. We saw all that we wished to see in DC and he was even kind enough to drive us all the way to Kensington, Maryland to see my childhood home. He patiently waited in the car while I toured the home with it’s new owners. When we return to DC in the future we will be sure to call him! You should too. Highly recommended. A+++
Tupua Family – Salt Lake City, Utah – January 29, 2020
Alan was not only great, he was beyond knowledgeable as our tour guide. I love history, so I was hesitant on having a tour guide but I’m so grateful we booked Alan with Concierge Tours. What I loved about Alan was, not only did he know his stuff, but he had all these little details which I LOVE!!!! Little facts interesting side facts that even the State Capitol tour guide didn’t mention. So whether you are a history lover or not, he is great at entertaining both. I must say it’s worth every penny and more!!! He picked us up from our hotel and we felt completely comfortable and ready to go. Alan was able to accommodate all of our little requests especially last minute ones. We were able to have lunch with him which was just as much fun. Reflecting on some of the things that we found fascinating and asking questions that we had from throughout the tour. Alan is great and if I were you book ASAP!!! When looking for a Tour guide find someone who loves and is passionate about your destination just as Alan was and it will get you even more excited about your trip. Thank you very much Alan!!!! Penny, Nickel, Dime, Quarter 😊

Want the best tour experience of your life? Alan and Concierge Tours is the only place to go!
I had a lovely 3 nights in Washington and my private tour guide, Alan from Concierge Tours…AMAZING GUIDE!!…wore me out visiting so many wonderful sights! If you are ever considering a tour of Washington, DC…do not do the tour bus, group tour thing…you have to go with Alan! He is genius and knows so much you will walk away wondering how you ever made it through school with so little knowledge! In addition, he treated me like there was all the time in the world to get this done. I have an off again/on again issue with my hip and though on Tuesday it was sore (mostly because of the unusual cold) Alan worked at my pace and let me rest when needed. I walked 4 miles that day and Alan walked even more…going to get the car so I could rest. We went back out Wednesday and saw as much as I could before I had to surrender. Again, Alan went to get the car to come back and pick me up. He is a kind & considerate tour guide and because you are working with an individual who cares about you as well as history, your happiness and satisfaction are important to him…at least that is the impression I was left with after spending time with him. He is a self-proclaimed history geek (I prefer history buff) who knows so much and will show you things the other guides just glaze over. When at the Capital, their guides asked Alan questions!
Oh…and let’s not forget how funny he is! He has a ton of jokes…he thinks they are all funny so just humor him and laugh…he will so appreciate it! Right, Alan!?
A memory, an experience that will last me a lifetime! I wish I had photos to share but my phone/camera is acting up!! See Concierge Tours page on Facebook for lots and lots of photos!!!
The Little Family – Waco, Texas – January 17 & 20, 2020
Our tour experience with Alan Feldman on our trip to Washington DC was so much more than anyone could expect in fact, Alan exceeded our expectations. American History is Alan’s love and it shows. From the week before we arrived, Alan called us to find what we wanted to see in Washington, to the end of the second day when had to say goodbye, our tour was a comfortable 5-star joy. Alan’s knowledge of the area with constant facts and trivia has to be unrivaled. We ended our two days with Alan becoming a true friend. We shared our life with him and his with us. We feel like we know his family! This was so much more than a tour, it was an everlasting memory. We give Alan and Concierge Tours our highest recommendation! Thanks Alan, and we hope to see you again soon!
Schedan Family – Denver, CO – January 2, 2020
WOW…. If you’re looking to tour DC, Alan with Concierge Tours is your guy!!! I scheduled a private tour and received a phone call from Alan in advance to discuss our plans. Alan also made some valuable suggestions that created a perfect experience for a mother in an unfamiliar environment with her two teenage boys. Alan’s style is unique, not only a nerd who’s extremely knowledgeable about history, he’s fun, very outgoing, flexible and amazing with teenage boys. Alan’s local knowledge about the monuments, the Smithsonian museums, the eateries and the rules of the general areas made our trip beyond what we expected. Alan even quizzed us and rewarded the boys with gifts for correct answers. Since DC has an enormous amount of interesting territory to visit, if possible, you must schedule more than one day to tour with Alan. Thank you Alan – Your tour was definitely the highlight of our trip!!!
Mulick Family – Las Vegas, NV December 27-29, 2019
For a more in-depth personalized tour of Washington DC, look no further than Alan Feldman at Concierge Tours. It’s overwhelming how much there is to see, but Alan points out the interesting gems at each place making it more meaningful than the average visit. Alan has an easy going manner which brings fun and education together. As well, his personal tour takes the stress of driving, parking and navigating the crowds in the DC area; money well spent!
Thank you, Connie M.
Arthur Family – Michigan – December 9, 2019
On Monday December 9 we took a full day tour guided by Alan. Conditions were not great as two of our group were in wheelchairs and it was pouring rain. But with Alan’s help we had a great day. He managed to plan the day to minimize the walking and with all of his stories and information we hardly noticed the rain. So glad we included this tour in our vacation. We highly recommend Alan.
Cannington Family – Waycross, GA – DC July 27, 2019 – NYC November 23-24, 2019
Your Tour – Your Way
Traveled to DC with 2 friends and their families. We had 11 people aged 8 to 70. I scheduled a full day private tour with Concierge Tours and, much to my surprise, made everyone happy. Alan was attentive to our wishes and put together a day full of adventure. He handled everything from tickets to dinner reservations. He paced the tour based on what we wanted and we walked away with SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE of our nation’s capital. Alan made learning fun for the kids and educational for the adults. We had such a GREAT tour that I used him again when we traveled to NYC in November 2019. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Alan Feldman with Concierge Tours.
The Schurr Family – Orlando, FL December 3, 2019
What a great tour with Alan! A must do if you want to see Washington DC at your pace with a lot of information and personalization to abilities of all those traveling in your party. We were able to customize our tour and knock off all the major must sees! We found out tons of info about DC in such a fun and informative way! Alan was such a pleasant guide and funny! Felt like we were on a tour with an old friend! Alan also took pictures for us which is great as it finally looks like I’m on vacation with my husband and not by myself!
The Hurley Family – Green Bay, Wisconsin – November 8, 2019
What a fantastic way to experience the many sites of Washington DC. My husband and I collaborated with our tour guide Alan Feldman on a customized itinerary for a full day tour. Alan added so much color with his knowledge and stories to the sites we visited. He engaged our 15 and 13-year-old sons with local trivia. We highly recommend this tour for anyone that wants to experience Washington DC in a personal and historic fashion.
Parrett Family – Upper Peninsula, Michigan October 17-18, 2019
Words can’t adequately describe our DC tours spent with Alan. Having “Our Tour, Our Way” meant so much for our family. We learned so much from Alan and his abounding history knowledge and many stories of all the sites we visited. This is truly the way to experience DC. Alan’s “pop quizzes” were a big hit and I must say we did pretty well as everyone truly paid attention to the way Alan presented the information. The pace of the tour and his patience with our group really sets our experience apart from any other tours we’ve been on. The tour was definitely a five-star experience and I would recommend Alan to any and all to book with Concierge Tours!
Caudill/Green Family – Indianapolis, Indiana October 10-12, 2019
Caudill Family of 5 – Alan gets 10 stars out of 5
I have been on many tours in many places and can honestly say Alan is the best tour guide you could ask for. Alan was always accommodating in every way possible going above and beyond (even prepping medicine for my mom’s bad ankles). A wealth of information – the stories he has about different sites are unbelievable and amazing. Not just quick fun facts, but actual in depth stories that are educational and you won’t forget! He keeps you honest with fun pop quizzes too haha. He is as genuine as he is intelligent and just a tremendous human being. I am honored to have had him as a guide. He was funny, informative, and able to maintain patience with a group who is naturally unorganized and hard of hearing. Our family is really good at not communicating and wandering off and Alan was able to herd cats and keep everyone on the same page! I cannot say enough to do him and his tour justice. An extremely interesting and charismatic person who can tell you the ins and outs of DC. Thank you again, Alan, for everything!
Tonie and Tina Lovin – Tampa, Florida September 27-28, 2019
We spent 2 full days with Alan, wish we had more time. What a fantastic tour guide, full of knowledge, interesting trivia and just a fun person to have to show you around DC and it’s surroundings- 5 star!
Koppelman & Feifer Families Monroe, New Jersey – September 14-15, 2019
Wanted to let you know that all of us (Jay & Susan & Herb & Betty….hmmm…. sounds like a movie title) truly enjoyed the DC touring experience. Even though each of us had “spent time” in DC before, your personalized tour was by far the best of our collective experiences. Not only did your touring flexibility tailor the “physical walk-around” requirements to our capabilities (i.e. group average age: 75 years young), your knowledge base of history, people, places and events kept us intellectually captivated, and motivated us to “keep on, moving on”. We have been “talking up” Concierge Tours and Alan Feldman as DC gurus, to friends in our community. Chapter 1 has ended, but there are more pages to turn. Until we meet again…. Regards, Jay Koppelman
The Moretti Family California – August 15, 2019
Our tour guide was Alan. He was full of energy and full of more information than we could process! He really took the time to educate us on a lot of information we either didn’t know, or had forgotten about since our school days! It was a day jam-packed with American history, and with a lot of walking, and luckily we had some comfy shoes on! Alan shared back stories, on the Lincoln family and other historical American families, and he really gave us the VIP treatment! On this particular tour, we definitely got our money’s worth, and then some! Thank you Alan, you were awesome.
John Willin and Guests from Australia – July 25, 2019
Just wanted to drop you a line about last week’s tour you gave to me, my wife and our friends from Australia. You arrived on time and were extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the various sites we saw on the tour. Our visit to Arlington Cemetery was wonderful, especially the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Solders and the specific grave memorials that you pointed out during our time at Arlington. You are a walking encyclopedia on numerous sites throughout Washington, as evidenced during our visits to the White House, Ford’s Theater, Capital Building, and various monuments. We enjoyed the entire day we spent with you and if we decide to book another tour, it will certainly be with you., via Concierge Tours.
Lucille “Lu” Minervini – Cincinnati, OH July 21, 2019
Alan, I want to thank you again for the fabulous DC tour today. Despite the heat you made it very interesting and a lot of fun! I loved your “side stories “and learned a lot. I will recommend you to friends in Cincinnati.
The Randall Family – Kansas City, Kansas June 22, 2019
Thank you, Alan, for the wonderful, interesting tour, we loved all the extra information you shared with us!! Such a fun, busy day!! I would certainly recommend Alan if you’re in need of a tour guide. We plan on returning to Washington, DC when we have more time and will be calling Alan and Concierge Tours for our next tour! Alan made everything so easy for us. Thanks again!
Erika Johnson– Kalispell, Montana – May 25 – 28, 2019
Concierge Tours provided our group white glove service in blue jeans style. Alan is part encyclopedia, part comedian, which is precisely what you need in a DC tour guide. For every monument, memorial, or historical place, Alan had an interesting and novel story or historical fact that you may not have read in your high school history books. He deftly kept us entertained by punctuating his talks with humor, making the content and tour that much more memorable. Alan managed 50 high school students on his three-day tour and I am amazed how much they actually listened and learned. I appreciated Alan’s ability to “read” our group’s needs and tailor the itinerary and rest times accordingly. My son with special needs was in the group and Alan went above and beyond to accommodate his needs. By the end of our tour, we called Alan our friend. I would recommend Alan and Concierge Tours to anyone. Enjoy your tour!
Pierson Family – Scottsdale, AZ – May 31, 2019
My family and I had limited time to explore Washington DC, so we decided to book Concierge Tours/Alan for an all-day tour, and I’m so happy we decided to do so. Alan was the perfect tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable, polite, accommodating and hilarious. We spent nearly 10 hours with Alan touring the US Capitol, Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon and the various monuments and memorials in the National Mall. It was the BEST guided tour I’ve ever been on, and I would highly recommend booking Concierge Tours/Alan if you want to maximize your Washington DC experience!
Nerdinsky Family – Miami, Florida – May 23, 2019
To anyone considering Concierge Tours, it’s a must! Our family of four had an amazing time with Alan. He taught us a tremendous deal of information about Washington, DC (and US history in general) and kept everyone engaged and curious for more. We were worried about the kids being interested, especially for so many hours, but Alan made everything so accessible and fascinating, even incorporated “quizzes” for the kids. The tour exceeded all our expectations and was an amazing day. We are beyond grateful and would recommend Alan and Concierge Tours to everyone!
Floyd Family – Ontario, Canada – May 3, 2019
We are a family of four (Mom, Dad, and 2 girls 15, 17) from Ontario Canada and found Concierge Tours online. After reading a few reviews, we decided to reach out to Alan to see if we could set something up. Alan was able to create a tour that would take us to some key spots and still allow us to be back at our hotel by mid-afternoon. We wanted to cram in as much as we could from the time we arrived at 8am. Alan picked us up at the airport and the tour began. Alan is very organized and has a vast amount of knowledge of the sites we visited. Alan did a great job of educating us with facts and stories that transformed our tour into a truly memorable experience. Alan’s ability to adjust on the fly is really amazing. Like I mentioned, our plan was to cram a lot in (Alan has tremendous energy) and Alan was up to the challenge. When one of the kids wasn’t feeling well and became very tired on the tour, Alan quickly made some suggestions to rectify the problem and adjust the tour to accommodate the situation. It really saved the day! We enjoyed the tour and learning about the Washington, DC area, especially Arlington National Cemetery . We would recommend Alan without hesitation. Thanks Alan!
Gregory Family – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – May 6-7, 2019
We just spent two fantastic days touring Washington, D.C., and the surrounding area with Alan Feldman/Concierge Tours, LLC. Alan filled our two days with a great variety of museums, monuments and historical sites and did so with endless energy, a vast amount of knowledge and a tremendous sense of humor. We found Alan to be engaging from the get-go, extremely personable and he made our two days fun and enjoyable. He has the ability to cater to all ages and he made a concerted effort to ensure our two grandchildren, ages 8 and 10, had a good time wherever we toured. Alan was fantastic to work with in planning the itinerary for each day of our tour. He demonstrated a “can do” attitude and made sure to incorporate any sites that we wanted to visit or see. Largely as a result of Alan’s involvement, we had a fabulous experience during our DC visit. We give Alan/Concierge Tours, LLC 5-Stars and we highly recommend him!! Thank you, Alan, we hope to see you again!

Henson Family – Perth, Western Australia – April 24, 2019
We arranged a tour of the sites of Washington with Alan. He was so accommodating. His knowledge and passion for the history of America shines through. He has an amazing sense of humour and tailors the tour to suit all participants. If you come to DC do yourself a favour and book a tour with Alan. You will learn so many interesting facts and Alan has an incredible ability to entertain people of all ages. You will never feel rushed and he allows you to ask numerous questions. It was certainly the best money that we spent on our trip. Thank you again Alan for everything you are the best.

We scheduled a tour with Alan (Concierge Tours DC) from Monday April 1- Friday April 5, 2019. We had 7 people in our group ranging from a 9 year old up to two 74 years olds. Alan picked us up directly from our Air BNB every morning, always right on time and in a comfortable car that fit us all. Alan made us a schedule and sent it to us prior to the trip, we loved that we knew what to expect everyday. Alan immediately got to know all of us and made seeing the sights and learning about history so fun! He brought spinner toys for the kids and had little quizzes after each sight that the kids would love to answer!! Alan knew a tremendous amount about history and had information and stories we had never heard prior to our trip. Alan was great about modifying things when we needed to for our youngest and also for the oldest in our group. I have been to D.C. before, but never saw and learned so much than I did on this tour with Alan. We felt like we didn’t miss anything and we had so much fun while doing it! Alan became part of the family and we were so grateful to have him be the one who worried about the plan, scheduling, tickets, and parking. He made our trip very enjoyable! I would highly recommend using Alan at Concierge Tours, he is the BEST!
If you are looking for someone that knows history and their way around DC and has a fun and engaging personality, then Alan Feldman is your man! My wife and I recently took our granddaughters ages 15 and 12 to DC for their spring break. At age 70 we were both apprehensive about time management and getting around the city to see all the sights. In steps Alan Feldman! The instant we landed at Reagan, Alan was there to pick us up and for the next three and one half days we experienced one of the most memorable and educational trips that we have ever had. To top it off, Alan was everything we could have asked for in a guide plus more, we adopted him as part of our family. Although the weather was cold and rainy, our spirits were never damped because Alan was filled with stories and anecdotes about every historical site, museum and monument we toured. We were amazed at how easily Alan navigated his way around DC and especially on our walking tour through Arlington national cemetery to take in the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier during a driving rain storm. Our granddaughters thoroughly loved being challenged to regurgitate the information that Alan was feeding them. As grandparents, there was no pressure on us to make sure the girls had a great time, as Alan saw to that. As a veteran, the memorials to the men and women who served our nation were the highlight of my trip. We all would go back to DC in a heart beat and the first person we would call would be Alan. He is a fine man and will make it his personal duty to make sure that your trip to DC will be everything you hoped for and more.

Our family recently spent a couple of days in DC. We booked this trip with an idea of introducing our kids (aged 14 and 8) to the rich and fascinating American history through visiting the capital. Alan Feldman was our tour guide on the first day of the trip. Frankly, we were concerned whether the kids could handle the day long tour. Alan captured their attention immediately with humorous little historic facts and anecdotes. He kept them engaged the whole time. This DC tour with Alan was an educational and fun experience for the whole family. Alan is a very knowledgeable guide with a treasure trove of incredibly interesting stories about the sites and the people in history. Thank you, Alan! We had a great time!
My husband and I recently visited Washington, DC with our three grandchildren (ages 12, 9 and 9). We spent our first day in DC with Alan Feldman of Concierge Tours. The decision to start our trip with a tour by Alan proved to be a very enlightening beginning to a fascinating adventure.
Alan guided us through Arlington National Cemetery as well as through many of the monuments and memorials. Along the way to each of these stops, he provided us with many interesting facts and funny tidbits about other buildings, etc. in DC.
We were in awe of Alan’s wide range of knowledge about so many DC current attractions and the history that accompanies each one. In addition, Alan has a lot of humorous facts at his finger tips that he throws out along the way to keep the kids amused and interested. He also has a knack for following up with the kids about some of these facts and oddities that he provided previously without making them feel like they are on the spot. They loved the questions. Alan, your knowledge is incredible, and your manner with kids is just perfect.
Because of our first “long” day spent touring with Alan, all three kids were raring to go for the next three days. They were so excited to continue the learning journey and spout out all of the knowledge that they had gained from him. In fact, the excitement continues a week later.
We highly recommend Alan Feldman and Concierge Tours to anyone visiting the DC/VA area, and we look forward to having another adventurous tour with him in the future.

Joanne Mileo Tampa, FL 11/5/2018 Joanne Mileo reviewed Concierge Tours — 5 star We toured Washington DC with Alan this past Monday. In spite of a very rainy first half of the day, Alan made our day wonderful, enjoyable and he is so knowledgeable. My 13 year old niece was with us and he went out of his way to make it fun and educational for her. Thank you so much for some great memories Alan. Five Stars!

The Best Tour Guide in DC, hands down! A true gentlemen, Alan Feldman brings history to life. What makes Alan the best? First, Alan truly loves what he does. My son and I came away with a much deeper appreciation for our country and its history. Second, Alan loves people. Alan’s love of people comes through in everything he does. Third, Alan loves America and its rich history. Whether you have a few hours or a few days, Alan will customize whatever time you have and make it an unforgettable experience.

How lucky was this California gal to find the perfect tour guide in Alan Feldman of Concierge Tours! I was attending a conference in nearby Virginia and really wanted to visit Washington D.C. since I had never been there and didn’t know when I’d return. Alan laid out a tour plan to give the most for my tour fee. He picked me up at the hotel and ran my legs off for four hours! I learned so much as we moved from place to place…from relatively well-known facts to minute details such as the meaning of items placed on the graves at Arlington. I can guarantee you will have a wonderful experience if you choose Concierge Tours.
·Alan was our guide for an incredible, fun and educational tour of Wash DC! He is a fantastic guide who truly loves his job. I’m not sure he would call it a job though, he has too much fun! So glad we got to meet you and count you as an honorary cousin for two wonderful (if rainy!) days.
Alan was an awesome tour guide. Our kids on the bus learned so much and had fun doing it, he was very understanding and kind to answer all questions. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time in Washington DC. Thanks so much Alan!!

Alan led myself and my family on an amazing tour of the DC area. It was everyone’s first time and he could not have been more accommodating. From picking us up at the airport and making breakfast reservations to sharing all of his knowledge of the vast history of this city. Alan went above and beyond for my family and we could not be happier with our first day and first trip to Washington, DC. Thank you Alan and Concierge Tours for making our trip unforgettable.
