Visit the theatre where on April 14, 1865 Abraham Lincoln was assassinated while watching the show Our American Cousin. Go back in time as you visit the wonderful museum under the theatre that features videos and details the manhunt for the assassin, John Wilkes Booth and his conspirators. Then visit the theatre and see the box where President Lincoln sat on that fateful night. Afterwards, visit the Petersen Rooming House across the street from the theatre where the President was taken and passed away the following morning on April 15, 1865.
