The White House is the residence of the President of the United States. Even though currently there have been 44 Presidents of the United States, only 42 presidents have actually lived there! While you’re in Washington DC, you will notice that there is no commercial air traffic allowed to fly over the White House or any of the other sights. If you’re lucky, you may see the Presidential Helicopter (Marine One).
